Flexible Style
Not everyone who needs a pickup wants a Ford F-150. A full-size truck brings capability, but it also brings bulk that can make everyday driving harder than it needs to be. The 2026 Ford Ranger is smaller than a half-ton truck, but it has the capability that half-ton models would have been happy with not so long ago. It still delivers the kind of towing and hauling ability people expect from a proper truck, but it’s smaller, lighter, easier to park, and easier to live with day to day. That’s the real reason midsize trucks like the Ford Ranger exist, and it’s why so many people are choosing them.
Trim Levels
The 2026 Ford Ranger lineup includes XL, XLT, Lariat, and Raptor trim levels. XL models cover the basics with the Ford Ranger’s core platform and standard four-wheel drive. XLT builds on that with additional convenience features and a more upscale look inside and out. Lariat continues to advance its capabilities with upgraded materials, additional technology, and more comfort-focused equipment. Raptor sits apart from the rest of the lineup with wider bodywork, unique suspension hardware, and a much more aggressive stance that reflects its off-road focus.

Performance
The 2026 Ford Ranger uses a 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine as standard, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. This engine produces 270 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque. An available 2.7-litre EcoBoost V-6 increases output to 315 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. The Ford Ranger Raptor uses a 3.0-litre EcoBoost V-6 offering 405 horsepower and 430 lb.-ft. of torque. The maximum towing capacity is 3,402 kg when properly equipped, which is impressive for a midsize truck. The Raptor uses a different suspension setup with FOX dampers and a wider track, which alters its behavior off paved roads. The standard models are set up for everyday use, while the Raptor is designed for more demanding conditions.
Features & Technology
The 2026 Ford Ranger is offered exclusively in a SuperCrew configuration, with four full-size doors and seating for five. The rear-seat legroom measures 932 mm. The dashboard features either a 10.1-inch or a 12-inch vertical touchscreen running the SYNC 4 system, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto included. Higher trims add a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster. Physical controls remain in place for climate and key functions. Storage includes a large centre console, door bins designed for larger bottles, and additional compartments around the cabin. Available features include heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a B&O sound system, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera.
